to blow out her second candle.

We finally did it though.

So proud of her.

Olivia Two

May 14th we had a great birthday party.

All of our friends got together and celerbrated the best thing ever.

We had a fun Olivia themed birthday party for my sweet baby.

It's her favorite book and I couldn't resist throwing a fun party!

This quote really hit home today.

I loved it, I read it about 20 times really trying to get all I could out of it.

I really want to take those simple opportunities and

create amazing things not only for others but for my inner self.

As you can tell I changed my blog address, sorry I did this with no notice.

It was a much needed change.

This change needed to happen more then anything.

I feel like weight has been lifted from me.

I know it sounds so silly but it makes me so happy!

Mother's Day 2011

Mother's Day turned out AMAZING!

My husband really got the hint this year and listened,

He woke up early ;)

He made me breakfast in bed.

He got me flowers, and my picture I have been wanting.

I got an awesome picture from Aleksandra that made my heart melt.

And best of all coupons from Mike that I can keep using 

all year long, well if they last that long!

Love you Mikey and Aleksandra, thanks for making my day so special!

Update

 

Update,

Surgery went really well.

I have a really smart doctor so that helps, wink wink!

Not a whole lot of pain. 

After they got into my foot they decided to keep my plates.

They took out two bone spurs, 2 pins, and some wires that where in the way.

Then cut the calf muscle to extend it since it was so tight for so long.

My recovery time has taken a little bit longer then planned.

I was going to start work up May 2nd but it got delayed a week.

So now i begin Monday May 9th.

I know I hate waiting but it's smart I let everything heal the right way.

So far every thing feels great.

I can actually move my ankle and it feels amazing to do so.
I am getting excited to start physical therapy and begin
this process all over again!

Thanks to all our family and friends for all the love and support they showed.

We got so many amazing meals brought to us.

We got so many calls, texts to check up on me!

We have great friends!!!

Mike's mom flew in to help with Aleksandra for a week.

My parents babysat me and Aleksandra.

See my blessing are so much I am sure I am forgetting something.

Thanks to everyone for helping us it means a lot.

Was a busy day from the moment we woke up.

We got to share this great day with people we love.

We went from swim lessons, to play date, to the zoo, to a party.

Little to, no nap was included in the day.

But Aleksandra held on tight and it out great.

We woke up had her favorite breakfast Cheerios and Cottage Cheese.

Then opened up Cards from family members.

Then off to getting dressed and making the Traditional 

Birthday Crown, she was a great help this year.

Happy Birthday to my Beautiful

Two year old.

Time has escaped us and your no longer a baby.

You have grown up into a toddler before my eyes.

Even though you will ALWAYS be my baby.

I can remember the day you where born.

It was a magical day and a hard day all in one.

You make every day so happy for me.

I can never see life with out you.

We love waking up with you in our home everyday!

We Love you Aleksandra.

First day of Life

Easter 2011

Every year we read this Easter book.

It is Aleksandra's favorite, it is about a little girl finding

her Easter eggs and then at the end a trail full of

JELLY BEANS

lead her to her Easter basket.

So we followed suite and laid a trail full of jelly beans through our house.

Aleksandra woke up so excited to get 

the jelly beans.

She picked up every Jelly Bean and found her Easter Basket

just like the little girl.

We had a great Easter.

Some how Mike managed to chop my head off.

But here is the book we always read.

This is what i got to see this morning.
My two buddies snuggling. It made me feel a lot better.

Nerves

Tight stomach, not the good kind.

Thoughts that everything can and will go wrong.

All the wrong thoughts you don't want before you go

Under the knife, but I press forward.

The positive side is that I have time to prepare for this surgery.

But either way its surgery and it sucks.

I am not looking forward to the pain,

Being held up in my home with my foot elevated.

Upside is I have so many books to read.

And lots of Aleksandra's birthday stuff to work on.

I have lots of help from Mike's mom and my mommy.

Aleksandra will be taken care of ten fold.

Wish me luck because there is no turning back now.

Awww so nervous, and excited all at the same time.

Well good thing I am going to be on pain pills

In about 3 hours and won't remember much.

Can't wait to read my blog post then.

Hopefully my husband won't let me near

my phone or our computer then.
