A is for Arizona

Baby and I traveled to Arizona for one of my best friends wedding. It was amazing weather there which was nice from the cold Utah weather. So babies first New Year was in Arizona and of course I stole her first kiss of the new year. We flew back Sunday morning and the plane was empty an we got to enjoy flying with tons of room which hardly never happens. We just relaxed on our mini vaction and enjoyed being with friends. It was also nice to go to my friends temple wedding because I got to remember all the temple covenants I made with Mike.

We made it!

Married 2 years January 12 and it's been a great ride. I have had a blast with my hubby learning, and growing together. Mike surprised me with breakfast in bed, which was served at 5:30 in the mornig since he had class that morning. But the upside of breakfast that early was we got to enjoy one anothers company alone since baby was still asleep. After breakfast I crashed back to sleep with a full belly and a big smile on my face to think that my husband thought of this great surprise.

Then we met up for lunch at red robin and split our favorite wrap. And once again it was nice to just be able to see eachother for more then a hour a day. Soon I got home after work to find the house cleaned spotless and a amazing bouquet of flowers waiting for me. Man I have an amazing man in my life.

Later that night my great friend Alaina and her husband came and got baby to babysit her and Mike and I got ready had for our anniversary dinner at Flemmings Steak house. It was a AMAZING dinner and fun to just be us two. Mike forbid me from looking at my cell phone so I couldn't check on baby and I wasn't allowed to talk about baby lol it was really hard. Since baby is my life I always have never ending things to tell about that cute girl. But we ate our steak, potatoes, veggies, and some to die for dessert. It was a great night especially since it ended with picking up baby!

These last 2 years have flown bye and I am truely grateful to have a man that knows me so well. Someone who I can be myself with at all times. A best friend that I never have to try and be more then who I am. I am really grateful for Mike and how he stayed worthy for me to marry him in the temple and now for us to begin our family. He is truely a blessing in my life and I couldn't be happier.

Crawling Machine

It's offical as of December 27, 2009 my baby Aleksandra started crawling. It's a low army crawl but it gets higher and higher every day she keeps on trying to get her little puerto rican booty she got for her Grandma up in the air. He favorite thing to crawl through is her little tunnel we got from Ikea. She was a little unsure at first but once she started crawling through it nothing could stop her. She goes through that little tunnel with her tounge sticking out and she is so proud of herself. And I am a proud Mom of how big and smart she is.

Trip to SandY

We took the day and visted the aquarium in Sandy with my sister. It was a great trip and a great day. I found that my little munchkin loves fish and loves anyhting that pays attention to her. And of course all those fish swimming across the tank she just assumes that the fish are talking and paying attention to her. But little does she know that the fish can't even see her. And this day was our first attempt of putting a bow in her hair without a head band which was a JOKE, it ended up being more work to keep it in her hair(if you can even call that hair)!

2 is better then one??

My baby is not so much of a baby anymore. She has two teeth now and loves to chew and bite. She thinks she is bigger then she actually is. She chews bananas whole and tries to bite peoples fingers. She tries to bite me when I nurse her such a stinker. I may have to just pump from now on until she is 12 months which is a lttle over 3 months, I think I could handle that. Her favorite thing of her new teeth is brushing her teeth. If I would let her she would want me to brush her teeth all day. And thanks to Cindy for motivating me to just do little post and keep up with my blogging!
