The evolution of The De Rosa's

When a friend asked me the other day how Mike and I met and started dating, it dawned on me, our story is becoming foggy. I figured I should probably jot it down before I totally forget and have to make something up. (I do that sometimes.) So here goes, my first attempt at journal writing by memory. if you're going to take the time to read (though I would advise otherwise), you may want to grab a snack to get you through. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Retail Therapy

Shopping in Park City with the Girls was a blast.

It is just what the doctor ordered.

Thanks girls it is really what I needed after the week I had.

Thanks for putting it together, and being great friends.

Reading

Here is T and Aleksandra reading books together.

I stepped away to help C for one second and turn around

to see these two happy kids reading together.
Not only do they love books, but they love each other more.

Blocks

So I was feeling crafy.......

I know crazy, this doesn't happen to often.

I decided on some blocks.

Then trying to choose what I was going to write on the blocks,

was a another ball game ugh!

Anyway I decided on GUIDE, because I heard this saying

"My role is to guide them to him".

And I fell in love with it.

So this will be over our bed to be a reminder to Mike and I

that our goal daily is to lead and guide our child.

The Hunt

It was Presidents day weekend 

& we decided to get out and explore.

We all had a blast spending too much money,

and hunting for that right item in the Antique store.

We found the greatest Antique shop and had fun shopping

and spending money

This hidden gem is out new favorite place to shop.

Kitty

This cute lady from our church gave this poster

to Aleksandra and she wouldn't stop

snuggling it nonstop.

We kept catching her in her room

loving the kitty poster.

Too cute for words.

Sunglasses

Aleksandra always complains when she is in the car

of the sun hurting her eyes.

So Mike and I decided to get her a big girl pair of glasses.

She loves them, and we love the no complaining in the car.

The Wrap up

We are always so blessed in our opportunity's in life,

we get to do so many fun and exciting things 

and we are always so grateful 

for them. What a great little trip our family got to take

to San Fran, we had a blast!

We found a killer Sushi Joint in San Fran. We couldn't get enough of it. Even Aleksandra loved it.

We headed to the Pier 39 Aquarium, it was a lot of fun

and the kids enjoyed it a lot!

The best part is it is located to all the fun tourist things to do.

Oh Happy Day at the Aquarium. Plus wearing our crown hats made it better!

The REAL Chipotle

We got to meet up with Alicia and Moody in San Fran.

And go get some REAL Chipotle burritos.

It has been said this is where the idea of Chipotle was started.

So we had to go and see where it all began.

And so it began with Moody and Alicia.

I met Alicia when my family lived in Illinois and then 

my brother served a mission with Moody and introduced 

these two LOVE birds together and they have been together ever since.

We just love them so MUCH and wish we lived closer, because 

we always have so much fun with them.

You know we had to stop at the Tanner's and take a photo in front of their house.

Academy of Science

We headed to the Academy of Science, it was too much fun.

 It is for sure worth the time if your ever in the area.

We got to meet up with my old friend from High School Stephaine and her cute family.

It was a great day, we didn't want it to end.

The best part is the kids got a long so great.

Well who wouldn't get along with Brighton he is the nicest kid EVER.

Boat Ride

We got to go on a little boat cruise on the most perfect day. 

The sun was shinning and no fog in San Fran if you can believe it.

I fell asleep on the way back hearing the waves crashing, and

Having the sun hit my face and then was quickly

awaken by Mike handing over Aleksandra, booo! 

Well all in all the boat cruise was a success!

San Fran Uno

 We got to head to San Fran for a quick 3 day trip with the 

Larsons, and we had a blast playing in the city and eating our way 

through San Fran. We all loved the warmth and can't wait

to go back again!

Fae kept sending my daughter back to us on the plane with crazy hair, but it sure made the plane ride easier with friends on the plane.

V-Day

Happy Valentines 2011

We love so many 

and are so blessed with amazing people

and family in our lives.

Yep that is how we do Valentines day here, underwear showing, and holes in the tights. It was just that good of a day!

We had a blast laughing and chatting it up with friends.

And I enjoyed chatting with the girls and eating junk food!

More thoughts

Questions for one and all, are blogs good are bad?
Because i have come to the conclusion that they #%*_* suck lately.
My blog use to make me so happy and i swear now all it does now is cause drama, stress, jealous, and agony for me and others.
I thought not adding peoples faces and keeping simple would help the issue but i was wrong.
I am now thinking its time to either be done with my blog or only blog about MY family.
Please lay on my thought because this has been weighing on my mind so much lately.
I just really enjoy blogging.
So what to do???
Please feel free to let me know because i just don't know anymore.

Breakfast

Don't get me wrong we love Aleksandra but it's been nice to go

to breakfast and only ask for a table for four adults, 

instead of more room because she is there.

So we have taken advantage every moment of eatening out

while she is with her Grandma. 

Who knew the wait time goes down if you don't have a kid lol.

Anyway breakfast was great, and it was nice to have adult

conversation with adults instead of hearing

Fun Fun FUN

Are baby free weekend continues by going out, we headed to Moochies's.

The we had some great host for the night and some fun friends to meet up and watch a movie, thanks everyone for making the night so fun!

This night started out with Moochie's if you haven't been there HURRY go it's amazing.

Begining

This baby free night started out amazing.

Dinner with one of my favorite girlfriend.

This night marked a huge change, and she knows what I am talking about.

Brother

 For my brothers birthday we all surprised 

(well surprise is so relative in my family)

But we got to the donut shop at 7:45 am and all shared his love of donuts.

I loves this brother too much, even though he is crazy.

One thing I can say is he is always happy.

We are so close since we born in the same year.

Growing up we just shared so much, and we have a great bound.

I love my brother Happy HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

This morning at 9am

Lets just say it was amazing, well for now

It's on Tuesdays and Fridays.

All the kids run around and play.

Some mothers run, and some do the step class.

Groundhog Day

Wednesday was Groundhog day,

and in honor of this day.

We all ate my favorite creation Groundhog cupcakes.

With shadows in tow, even though 

Mr. Groundhog found no shadow this year!
