Bunnies

Easter 2011

Every year we read this Easter book.
It is Aleksandra's favorite, it is about a little girl finding
her Easter eggs and then at the end a trail full of
JELLY BEANS
lead her to her Easter basket.
So we followed suite and laid a trail full of jelly beans through our house.
Aleksandra woke up so excited to get
the jelly beans.
She picked up every Jelly Bean and found her Easter Basket
just like the little girl.
We had a great Easter.

Some how Mike managed to chop my head off.
But here is the book we always read.
And a picture of the little girl following her trail.

Sliced

This is what i got to see this morning.
My two buddies snuggling. It made me feel a lot better.

Nerves
Tight stomach, not the good kind.
Thoughts that everything can and will go wrong.
All the wrong thoughts you don't want before you go
Under the knife, but I press forward.
The positive side is that I have time to prepare for this surgery.
But either way its surgery and it sucks.
I am not looking forward to the pain,
Being held up in my home with my foot elevated.
Upside is I have so many books to read.
And lots of Aleksandra's birthday stuff to work on.
I have lots of help from Mike's mom and my mommy.
Aleksandra will be taken care of ten fold.
Wish me luck because there is no turning back now.
Awww so nervous, and excited all at the same time.
Well good thing I am going to be on pain pills
In about 3 hours and won't remember much.
Can't wait to read my blog post then.
Hopefully my husband won't let me near
my phone or our computer then.

It's beginning

.......to look a lot like
SPRING
so now it's time for
EASTER.
And here at our home we are getting ready!

Easter candy bowls filled and being enjoyed by all.

sushi

Our favorite sushi place EVER.
So worth not eating anything all day
so we can cram our face full on sushi at the end of the night.
We all got to catch up and we had a blast.
Thanks everyone for a fun night.

The Gowdys, the Majors, us, Linz and Skyler.

Let down your

.......Hair

Aleksandra is obsessed with Tangled and,
Grandma bought her a Tangled doll.
That is what it's called around her anyway.
Well Aleksandra decided to go play in Grandma's backyard and,
found there was a tower and took her Tangled doll.
She kept saying "Me and Barbie are Tangle in Tower, Mommy"
Then she would let Rapunzel's hair down and try to get me to climb it.
Such a clever little girl.
Then soon she tried to get me to pull her own hair to climb it, poor
Aleksandra doesn't realize she has hardly any hair lol.
Well we are off to go watch Tangled for the
347901750098659...
time, wish me luck!

Grandma's house

Dad had a lot of work to do this weekend,
so we headed to Grandma's house.
So he could get some homework and projects done, since we distract him.
We played and played.
We went to the movies and had to much fun spending
time with people we love.
Aleksandra always loves going to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Getting excited to see Rio.

Katie

We decided to SURPRISE Katie with a breakfast birthday.
SO we got all her closest friends (well the ones we knew) and celebrate!
We ate till our tummies and hearts where content.
Which was a lot!
And plus we got to kick off a fun day with our friends.
Happy Birthday Katie.
Your the BEST!
And thanks Jess for all your help planning!

The group shot, after 3 tries (my bad)

Squatters

We all know I love food and the Rogers/Ivins.
So when the two got two got to be together I couldn't,
I mean we couldn't resit the chance.
We got to eat at our favorite place and partake in the Holy Grails
of Veggie Burgers, AHHHHH.
And plus it was fun to catch up with friends and let the little girls have fun too.

Mike and I about to enjoy our tasty meal!

Just like Dad

These two make me so happy.
Mike was vacuuming and Aleksandra ran in grabbed her "vacuum"
so she could help her Dad.
Those two vacuumed together and it was so sweet.
Then after words I found them both asleep in
Aleksandra's bed all snuggled together.
Words can't express my love for these two.

Cousins

I got to see my cute cousins and Aunt and Uncle on Sunday.
I was so happy to be able to visit with them.
They are always so fun and happy.
I just love them to pieces.
I just wish they didn't live in California,
well except Starla she lives in Utah.
Love ya guys thanks for the visit.
Wish it could of been longer!

My helper

We had to make cookies for book club.
So I enlisted my biggest help, Aleksandra.
She is too big and always there for a helping hand.
She enjoyed every moment and I loved seeing her soak up
everything she was learning in the process.

Here is my handy helper, from start to finish.

Friends

Grace and Aleksandra.
We got back form our walk yesterday to interrupt the Wasson's bike racing.
Aleksandra loved riding with her friend Grace.
The night was happily ended with frozen yogurt
and Katie scarring the crap out of Mike and I.
Thank Wasson's for a fun fhe night.

key lime cup cakes

Jillian helping me out with the cupcakes.
She is one amazing baker.

Crusing

Words can't express what a great time we had on our trip.
Our freinds made it an amazing time and it was so great
to relax and enjoy spending time and being with my husband.
I think It's so easy to forget the little things in relationships that make it the best.
Holding hands, little kisses, the cute stares across the dinner table,
and best of all just being able to talk to one another!
I am so glad we got to have this vacation with one another.
We had a blast playing card games almost every night till 2am.
Partaking in the midnight buffet.
Eating Ice cream cones all the time.
Acting like we where 15 again.
Doing fun Hypnotist shows.
Life was amazing for 8 days!
Can't wait till out next trip!
Thanks friends for a great time.

The girls playing the bean game.

La Paz

Welcome to La Paz, Mexico
It not a tourist town at all.
It is a quiet town that hasn't still hit the 21st century.
And by far it was my favorite for how quaint it was.
It was full of history, love, dedication, and it made me want to move there.
We had a blast cruising around town in the morning.
We decided to check out all the historical things and then play
in the water later in the day.
It was great day in La Paz!

Yep, this is what greeted us when we got off the ship!
