I am in a pickle can't decide on what color to paint my living room/kitchen. We live in Marmalade and if you know what those kitchens look like then you hopefully get an idea or maybe you have been here anyway take vote on which on you like better.
Here is choice #1-Burnt Orange
#2-Robin Blue
That's a toughie... My vote goes for... the orange.

ReplyDeleteIf you're painting the wall that runs along the "back" of the living room and kitchen, that big painting has a lot of blue tones in it and it might get washed out if you paint the wall blue. I vote orange.

ReplyDeleteOkay if i remember right your kitchen window faces North, right? Well north light is always blue, so it casts a blue hue, and cool tone. so if you were to paint the walls blue, it would exaggerate that. Blue is calming, but too much is very cold. I love the colors together, actually. I think it would be neat to paint the wall orange, and paint your cabinets distressed blue like the picture. It would be very different. but for sure i would go for the orange on the walls and use the blue as an accent. complimentary colors, baby!
