We decided to head up to Yellowstone which is great because it's only 20 minutes from the cabin. And we lucked out this year because Yellowstone was free this year June 6 through the 6th for the opening of the summer. We where pretty stoked we didn't have to pay 25 dollars a car and got to see old faithful for free. Good thing even on a free day they had old faithful's pump running. We spent all day in Yellowstone looking at geysers and trying to find as many animals as we could find it was a blast. The babies were so tired and the parents were wiped but the day was well spent. As you could say we got our moneys worth. After our day in Yellowstone National Park we spent the evening bumming around the town, shopping and checking out the town it was a fun evening. Then we headed back to the cabin for some amazing taco soup by the Gowdys!
It was so incredible when Old Faithful erupted. What an incredible eruption...I was like...wow that's an eruption worth waiting for!
